I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor specializing in the treatment of substance abuse, aggression (anger management), infidelity, and high conflict relationships.  I have completed Level 1and 2 Clinical Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and I have training from the Gottman Institute on treating affairs. My approach blends the Gottman Method with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  I see the client as a participant in their own counseling work, with the therapist as a guide and mentor.  My style as a counselor tends to be empathetic, but also boundary setting. I believe that lasting change ultimately comes through personal insight and skill training.

I grew up in Texas. I majored in Psychology at Tulane University and  received my Masters degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. I enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, boating, and most anything outdoors.
